About Tina's Toasty Toes

Tina's Toasty Toes was started in 2018 by me, Christina (Tina) Federici. After attending a yarn dyeing class in London, England, I was hooked (forgive the pun) and returned home to start dyeing my own yarn. Eventually, friends started asking me if they could buy some of the yarn I was dyeing, and Tina's Toasty Toes was born.

The business name comes from a good friend, Cathy. At the time I had been crocheting slipper socks and selling them on Etsy (or wishing I was selling them). Because of the nature of the product, my friend Cathy quipped "You can call your shop Tina's Toasty Toes!". When I stopped selling finished items on Etsy and decided to do yarn dyeing instead, I kept the Tina's Toasty Toes name because at the time, I was dyeing mainly sock yarn. Now you'll often hear me quip at events "We're more than just sock yarns!" as the selection I offer now ranges from lace through bulky yarns, in multiple different luxury yarn bases.
At the present time, Tina's Toasty Toes is a one-woman operation. I dye the yarn, twist and label the yarn, handle all aspects of customer service and events I attend, build and maintain my website, create content and post on social media, and more. Because of this, please be patient with me. I am committed to customer satisfaction, please give me the opportunity to provide that service to you when reaching out.
Since Tina's Toasty Toes started in 2018, I've sold thousands of skeins of yarn. I never imagined this side hustle turning into a dream job, but here we are. I hope to continue to grow through wholesale partnerships and by attending more events. If you are a local yarn shop owner or a fiber festival director, please contact me if you are interested in having Tina's Toasty Toes yarn at your event or stocked in your store.
I always love seeing what you make with my yarn, and I hope you'll tag @tinastoastytoes on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, or TikTok so I can see it!
